History
Edward Hambrick was born to a poor family on what is widely regarded as a poor world in Davion space. There is very little to distinguish the planet Waimalu save for poverty and the occasional outbreak of Waimalu Fever, a disease so deadly it kills one of every two non native visitors to the planet. Sometimes the outbreaks are so bad that even the locals who have built up an immunity fall prey to it.
Such was the fate of Edwards family and as a young man he was left to fend for himself. Fortunately he had skills that could be used to buy his way off world and he served in the FedCom military for a time to further hone those abilities. Despite offers to remain in the service he decided to muster out and seek his fortunes. Nothing from his experiences on his home world gave him a great sense of patriotism so he felt free to find a place of his own where he could belong.
Personality
Like so many others in similar situations he found that place in the Restless Souls. Now with a new sense of purpose he has thrown himself into his work. On his off duty times though he enjoys a friendly game of poker and the occasional fishing trip. Coming from such abject poverty the simple pleasures most would take for granted appeal to him. He is plain spoken, dutiful and loyal to those he thinks deserve it.
