History


Born to a stridently pro-Steiner family, Ann's parents did not take well to the Star League's formal and final arrival on New Earth in 3077. When her mother was killed by a stray gas grenade round in a protest march-turned riot, Ann's father joined a resistance group. He himself was killed during a raid gone bad by local police who were begrudgingly assisting the SLDF. Orphaned at 13, Ann found herself in a foster home belonging to two ex-SLDF soldiers. Displaying a knack for puzzle solving, Ann passed on a college scholarship and surprised her foster parents by enlisting in the Restless Souls' training program. Recently, Ann was one of the few bright spots of the Baxter campaign. She managed to extract her entire lance of trainees from a tough situation facing down a light Clan star, and later accounted for a Puma OmniMech in the final battle.



Personality


Ann is generally quite and unassuming in person. She avoids crowds, and if she joins her cohorts for a night out, often picks the quietest place in the room to hang. In the cockpit, she can be surprisingly forceful and has a nack for finding odd solutions to difficult problems.
