History

Weiss was a competent 'Mechwarrior for Clan Nova Cat, destined for promotion at some point, but hardly a ristar, and unlikely to ever earn the chance at a blood name. What he was, at least by Clan standards, was an idealist, albeit one who was prone to consider stepping over individuals for the common good. With all the good he believed it was capable of, the rejection of the 2nd Star League by the SLDF 4th Army was like a dagger to his heart. He fought in the invasion of the Lyran Commonwealth, but only because he saw no other option. When Colonel Winters died in his Nobori-Nin, he immediately powered down his 'Mech and requested that he be adopted into the Restless Souls. Approved as a bondsman by Alexander Brade, he hopes to make a name of himself, earn his freedom in his own eyes, and then apply for a posting in an SLDF division as a 'Mechwarrior.

Personality

Prone to coming across as harsh, Weiss nevertheless is a dreamer. And lately, he is struggling with the fact that his own dreams often seem to involve his fellow bondsman, Corporal Charlotte. Such anti-Clan feelings aren't as taboo to a Nova Cat raised in the Inner Sphere as they are for many Clanners, but they still make him uncomfortable.
